TONAWANDA - During Vigilant Guard in early November, the 249th Medical Company (Air Ambulance) practiced using a hoist mounted aboard their UH-60 Blackhawk to rescue simulated victims in the aftermath of an earthquake scenario in the Buffalo, N.Y. suburb.
