CAMP CHITOSE, JAPAN-- 42nd Division Command Sgt. Major Robert Jenks of Millerton (left) congratulates division Soldier Sgt. Holly Lindstrom, of Buffalo, after giving her a sergeant major's coin to recognize her efforts during Yama Sakura 57, an annual, bilateral command post exercise that simulates Japanese-United States military operations required to defend Japan now underway.

Lindstrom is working in the division planning section and runs the Common Operating Picture, a computer system which gives the commanding general and command staff a real-time picture of the battlefield.

Jenks said Lindstrom is working in a job that is above and beyond her pay grade.
