CAMP CHITOSE, JAPAN-- 42nd Division Command Sgt. Major Robert Jenks of Millerton (left) congratulates division Soldier Sgt. Holly Lindstrom, of Buffalo, after giving her a sergeant major's coin to�recognize her efforts during Yama Sakura 57,�an annual, bilateral command post exercise that simulates Japanese-United States military operations required to defend Japan now underway.
�Lindstrom is working in the division planning section and runs the Common Operating Picture, a computer system which gives the commanding general and command staff a real-time picture of the battlefield.
Jenks said Lindstrom is working in a job that is above and beyond her pay grade. �
