New York's Adjutant General Announces Retirement

JOINT FORCES HEADQUARTERS, Latham--Major General Joseph Taluto, the Adjutant General, speaks to members of the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs staff on Thursday, Jan. 28, as he announces his plans to retire after a 44-year career in the New York Army National Guard.
Taluto enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1965. During his career he commanded at various levels, including command of the 42nd Infantry Division in Iraq in 2005. He has been adjutant general of New York for the last four years.
