Troops Return to New York City From Iraq

NEW YORK--Lt. Col. Norman Easy, a member of the New York Army National Guard's 53rd Army Liaison Team, speaks with a reporter from Channel 2 after returning the unit's headquarters at the Park Avenue Armory on Saturday, Jan. 30, after spending most of 2009 serving in Iraq. 30.
The 53rd a small specialized unit, provided a personal security detachment for the commander of multi-national troops in Iraq and also provided specialist officers to work in both U.S. and Iraqi headquarters in Baghdad.
