BASRA, Iraq-- Brig. Gen. Pat Murphy, the Adjutant General of New York, shakes the hand of 206th Military Police Company member Spec. Tracy Bryant during a visit to the Basra Logistics Support Area on April 7.
Murphy, the commander of the New York National Guard was visiting the 206th and other New York Army National Guard units in Iraq and Kuwait along with Command Sgt. Major Robert Van Pelt, the New York State Sgt. Major has part of the Joint Monthly Access for Reserve Components program which allows both Army Reserve and National Guard leaders to go see their troops deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan.
