Gabreski Field Air National Guard Base-- Members of the New York Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing salute as the remains of New York Army National Guard 1st Lt. Joseph Theinert pass by on June 9, 2010.
The remains of Theinert, who was serving in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division when he was killed in action, were flown into the base prior to being moved to Shelter Island where his funeral is set for June 11.
