Naval Militia on Duty on Lake Champlain

CROWN POINT--Chief Petty Officer Wayne Hurlburt mans the helm of a patrol boat on the waters between Crown Point, NY and Chimney Point, Vt on Lake Champlain Sept. 4. as a ferry transports its passengers to the Vermont border.
New York Naval Militia Patrol boats provided assistance to the United States Coast Guard and local law enforcement on four weekends in August and September in slowing down boats passing through the location where a new bridge linking Vermont and New York is being built.
