Work Begins on Plane Upgrade at Stewart ANGB

STEWART AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Newburgh - The first production C-5M Super Galaxy is towed into inspection stands here early Thursday morning Oct 7.
Aircraft maintainers of the New York Air National Guard’s 105th Airlift Wing are performing an annual inspection that incorporates restoration work to the inspection program. This Total Force effort consisting of Air Guard, Reserves, Active Duty and contractors will result in interior standardization and a new look for this aircraft and eventually for the entire C-5 fleet.
