SCOTIA--New York Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Shawn Nethaway and his family watch the activities at the farewell ceremony for the 501st Ordnance Battalion (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) held on Monday, Oct. 25 at Stratton Air National Guard Base here.
The 501st will deploy to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn.
