FORT HAMILTON, BROOKLYN--Major Jody Lupo, the new commander of the 24th Civil Support Team, stands in front of the members of his specialized unit after taking command from Lt. Col. The 21-member team of New York National Guard Soldiers and Airmen is specially trained to detect the presence of chemical, biological, and radiological agents and works with civilian first responders and other agencies in the New York City metropolitan area.
