Honoring New York National Guard Fallen

LATHAM- Air National Guard Tech Sgt. Al Moon sounds Taps as members of the New York Military Forces Honor Guard present arms during a Memorial Day service held May 26th at Division of Military and Naval Affairs headquarters here. The event, presided over by Major General Patrick Murphy, the Adjutant General and New York National Guard Command Sgt. Major Frank Wick, recognized the 32 members of the New York Army National Guard, and one Marine Corps Reservist who was also a member of the New York Naval Militia who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan.
