FORT DRUM, N.Y. -- Members of the New York Army National Guard’s 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct small-unit individual and collective training here May 13 as part of the brigade’s premobilization training cycle. Nearly 2,000 Soldiers are involved in the month-long training event, running from May 3 until early June to prepare individual Soldiers from the brigade for mobilization in the fall and deployment to Afghanistan in early 2012.
