FORT DRUM--Soldiers from the New York National Guard’s 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team engage the enemy during training exercises here on June 3. More than 2,200 Soldiers from the brigade have been training at Fort Drum since the beginning of May to prepare for deployment to Afghanistan in 2012.
