BALDWINSVILLE, NY-- New York Naval Militia Chief Petty Officer Michael Porter and Petty Officer Matt MacDowell prepare the side of the Naval Militia’s PB 281 as it enters Lock 24 of the Erie Canal in Baldwinsville, NY during a training mission on June 11. The New York Naval Militia’s Military Emergency Boat Service maintains a fleet of nine vessels to assist local law enforcement and the Coast Guard as required.
