New York Soldier Competes for Best Warrior Title

FORT BENNING, GA-- New York Army National Guard Sgt. Shawn Chapple, a member of the 107th Military Police Company, moves a simulated casualty downrange during the Army National Guard’s Best Warrior Competition here on August 6. Chapple was one of 14 Army National Guard NCOs and enlisted Soldiers competing for top honors. Chapple, who represented the Northeast in the competition didn’t win but did well, according to New York State Command Sgt. Major Frank Wicks.
