LATHAM-- New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, the Commander-in-Chief of the New York National Guard meets with members of the New York Army National Guard’s 206th Military Police Company as they prepare to deploy from the Albany Area to New York City in response to the landfall of Hurricane Irene. The governor spoke with members of the unit as well as airmen from the 109th Airlift Wing who are part of the mission. He also received a mission briefing from Major General Patrick Murphy, The Adjutant General of New York.
