501st Ordnance Battalion Homecoming

GLENVILLE-- Lt. Col. Rob Mitchell, commander of the 501st Ordnance Battalion (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) hugs a family member after the unit returned from its deployment in Iraq on Saturday, Oct. 15. The 501st Soldiers spent 10 months in Basra, Iraq, overseeing counter-IED operations in southern Iraq.
