LATHAM, N.Y.--A Korean-American police officer, a community college student, and a human resources NCO were named as the Best Warriors for the New York Army National Guard following a weekend event March 24-25 at state headquarters. They are, from left: Staff Sgt. Sihoon Chung, the traditional part-time Non-commissioned Officer of the Year; Sgt. David Martinsen,the outstanding Active Guard and Reserve Non-commissioned Officer of the Year and Spc. Brian Lekhmus, the junior enlisted Soldier of the Year.
