CAMP SMITH-- New York Guard Sgt. 1st Class Joseph Lewis, a member of the 102 Engineer Battalion of the 10th Brigade works on a building during a mission at Camp Smith Training Site on May 5. The New York Guard is the state’s all-volunteer, defense force which augments and assists the New York Army and Air National Guard.
