Naval Militia and New York Guard Train Together

VERPLANCK-- Members of the New York Guard’s Search and Rescue Team board New York Naval Militia Patrol Boat 301 at the Viking Boat Yard here on Wednesday August 1. The New York Naval Militia patrol boatd transported the team up the Hudson River to West Point in a joint operation conducted as part of Operation Trojan Horse, an interagency maritime security exercise conducted in New York City and on the Hudson River. The exercise gave the two state defense forces experience in working with each other.
