STRATTON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE , Scotia N.Y. --New York Army National Guard Soldiers from the 42nd Infantry Division load personnel and cargo onto a C-130 Hercules aircraft here on August 10th, 2012. The Soldiers were training to deploy an advance part from the division headquarters, according to Lt. Col. John Andonie, the Division Operations Officer. The 42nd were heading to Fort Pickett, Virginia to set up a Command and Control Center which would initiate communication back to Operations.
