ISLAN QALA, Afghanistan-- New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to a Security Forces Advisory Team working with Afghan forces at this border crossing between Afghanistan and Iran pose for a photograph earlier this year atop an old Russian armored personnel carrier. The Soldiers are expected to return in the fall.
