NY shares communication capabilities with Israeli Defense Force Home Front Command

LATHAM, N.Y. -- New York Army National Guard Spec. Nick Cavallaro explains the communications network capabilities of the Joint Incident Site Communications Capability system to Lt. Col. Yehuda Elmakias, Head of Tactical Interconnectivity Branch, Israel Defense Force and Col Boaz Kavina, Head of C4I Systems Department, Israel Defense Force (center) during an Israeli Defense Force Home Front Command visit, here, April 10.

The Defense Force visitors spent the day learning how the New York Army National Guard develops command and communications capabilities and uses them to bridge first responders and other local, state, and federal agencies during emergencies.
