SARATOGA SPRINGS-- Major General Patrick Murphy, the Adjutant General, presents Michael Aikey, the manager of the New York State Military Museum and Veterans Research Center, with his retirement certificate following a retirement luncheon held on April 30. Aikey has managed the museum since its creation more than a decade ago.The museum houses over 10,000 artifacts dating from the Revolutionary War to Iraq and Afghanistan that relate to New York State’s military forces, the state’s military history and the contributions of New York’s veterans.
