SYRACUSE--Major Scott Jessop accepts the colors of the New York Army National Guards 427th Brigade Support Battalion from Col. Joseph Bieler commander of the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat during change-of-command ceremonies on Friday August 9 at the Thompson Road Armory here. Jessop took over command of the battalion from Lt. Col. Stephen M. Bousquet who led the unit during its 2012 deployment to Kuwait and Afghanistan.
