LATHAM-- New York Air National Guard Brig. General Anthony German presents the Meritorious Service Medal to Capt. James Vendetti during an awards ceremony here on October 10. Vendetti, who is now assigned to the 109th Airlift Wing, was recognized for his four years of service as Joint Operations Center battle captain and acting Chief of Operations for the Joint Operations Directorate at Joint Force Headquarters. During his service he was directly involved in 37 domestic operations missions including Hurricane Sandy, and Tropical Storms Lee and Irene.
