42nd CAB Shows Gratitude to Shaker High School

COLONIE, NY -- New York Army National Guard Soldier 1st Lt. Andrew Shaw (left), a member of the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB), presents a certificate of appreciation from the unit to Shaker High School here Nov. 20. The school hosted a farewell ceremony for unit members who left for training in Texas before deploying to Kuwait. Accepting the certificate are (middle right to far right) Senior Allyson Crowley-Duncan, Principal Richard Murphy and North Colonie School District Superintendent D. Joseph Corr.
