NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION-- A New York Army National Guard Soldier assigned to the 427th Brigade Support Battalion heads for his vehicle as he prepares to deploy with one of four New York National Guard Initial Response Forces (IRF) stood up to assist local officials as Artic cold and driving snow descend on the Buffalo NY area on Tuesday Jan. 7. At the Direction of Governor Andrew Cuomo the New York Army and Air National Guard mobilized more than 260 Soldiers and Airmen and had another 100 on standby.
