FORT DRUM--Spc. Steven Smith, an automated logistics Soldier with the 42nd Infantry Division Headquarters Support Company, strips a M249 light machine gun while competing in a Best Warrior Competition at Fort Drum N.Y., Jan. 10. Smith, one of seven soldiers from the 42nd Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion to compete, won the competition and will proceed to the divisional level.
