ALBANY-- New York Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Raymond Presley IIIreceives the New York State Medal for Valor from Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy during Governor Andrew Cuomo's Veterans and Military Family Summit here on Thursda, March 20. Presley was honored for risking his life to save New York Army National Guard Capt. Timothy Neild on Dec. 9, 2013, after Neild's truck crashed and caught fire on the New York State Thruway. The Medal of Valor is New York's most prestigious military award.
