RESOLUTE BAY, Nunavut--In this Canadian Forces Photo An LC-130 of the New York Air National Guard's 109th Airlift Wing lands at the Resolute Bay Airport, Nunavut on April 11, during Operation NUNALIVUT 2014, an annual exercise conducted by the Canadian Forces Joint Task Force North. The 109th Airlift Wing is a New York Air National Guard unit who will be using this aircraft to position fuel and supplies for the operation. The 109th Airlift Wing employs the United States Department of Defence’s only ski-equipped aircraft capable of conducting operations in remote Polar Regions.
