New York Aviators Ready to Head Home

FORT HOOD, Texas -- More aviation Soldiers from New York's 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade, headquartered in Latham, receive final demobilization briefings before getting their release from active duty.
The 42nd CAB was deployed to Camp Buehring, Kuwait for about nine months along with aviation units from New York's 642nd Aviation Support Battalion and the 142nd Assault Helicopter Battalion. The 42nd CAB provided aviation support for U.S. military forces deployed to Kuwait.
