COLONIE, N.Y. - New York National Guard servicemembers, military family members and military supporters alike cross the finish line in the 7th annual Hometown Heroes 5k Oct. 19, 2014 at the Colonie Crossings in Colonie, N.Y. Some 200 runners participated in the event. The 5k is a fundraiser sponsored by the New York National Guard Family Readiness Council to benefit the families of National Guard service members across the state.
