HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, Savannah, Georgia- New York Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer 2 John Hermanson makes his way to a CH-47F here on Oct. 16, 2014 prior to a night flight. Hermanson and other members of Detachment 1, Company B 3rd Battalion 126th Aviation, are training here on the latest model of the venerable CH-47 Chinook helicopters which the Rochester-based unit flies.
