ROCHESTER--New York Army National Guard Lt. Col. Michael Charnley accepts the colors of the 642nd Aviation Support Battalion during Change of Command Ceremonies at the Patriot Way Armory here on Saturday, Oct. 25. Charnley took command of the battalion- which returned from a deployment to Kuwait in August-- from Lt. Col. Jack James. James has been tapped to take command of the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade.
