FORT BENNING, Georgia-- New York Army National Guard Sgt. Thomas Carpenter (left) a member of the 2nd Battalion 108th Infantry takes a break with 28th Infantry Division Command Sgt. Maj. Chris Kepner during a competition to identify candidates for the three two-man Army National Guard Best Ranger Teams on Nov. 20 2014 at Fort Benning Ga.
