LATHAM-- Soldiers assigned to the New York Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion pose with their new battalion commander, Lt. Col. James Gonyo (front kneeling left)and outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Henry Pettit (front kneeling right) following change of command ceremonies at Division of Military and Naval Affairs Headquarters on Monday, March 16. Gonyo is moving into the command after serving as commander of the 1st Battalion 69th Infantry and as deputy commander of the 369th Sustainment Brigade.
