LATHAM --Major General Patrick Murphy the Adjutant General of New York speaks during a pre-Memorial Day ceremony held on Thursday May 21 at New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs headquarters in Latham. New York National Guard members and Division of Military and Naval Affairs employees dedicated the new New York Military Forces Memorial commemorating fallen New York National Guard members of all wars and remembering the 33 New York National Guard members who died in Iraq and Afghanistan.
