NY Guardsman Henry Johnson Honored at White House

WASHINGTON- President Barack Obama presents a posthumous Medal of Honor awarded to New York National Guard Soldier Henry Johnson for his heroism during World War I to New York Army National Guard Command Sgt. Major Louis Wilson, who represented Johnson during the Tuesday, June 2 event in the East Room of the White House. Wilson accepted the medal because Johnson, a member of the 369th Infantry --the Harlem Hell Fighters-- has no living relatives.
