STRATTON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE-- Members of the Alplaus Fire Department deal with a simulated casualty with a sign post in his stomach during a Major Accident Response Exercise conducted on Sunday, June 14 by the 109th Airlift Wing here. The exercise tested the ability of the wing and local first responders to deal with a tanker fire and other incidents at the base. About 50 local fire fighters, emergency medical service and police took part in the exercise.
