Fort Drum, N.Y. -- A Soldier from the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team's Detachment 1, Company B,27th Special Troops Battalion, prepares to launch one of seven Shadow RQ-7 UAV's during the 27th's Exportable Combat Training Capabilities annual training in preparation for JRTC next year. The RQ-7s are used by the brigade's intelligence company to locate enemy positions and monitor the battlefield.
