Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter will host a Worldwide "Troop Talk," event Tuesday, September 1 at 0900 Eastern Time. This event will feature live and pre-recorded questions from service members worldwide, which will then be live streamed via www.Defense.gov and broadcast live throughout the American Forces Radio and Television Service network from Studio 1, Defense Media Activity, Fort Meade, Maryland. The hour-long forum will enable service members to interact directly with the Department's top leader on key issues that affect each of them. New York National Guard members can participate by submit questions via Facebook, Twitter @ #AskSecDef or emailing questions to AskSecDef@mail.mil.
