STEWART AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE--The remains of New York Air National Guard Tech. Sgt. Joseph G. Lemm are transferred from a C-17 to a hearse during a ceremony on Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at Stewart Air National Guard Base by members of the 105th Airlift Wing. Lemm was killed in action while deployed to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan on December 21st 2015. Staff Sgt. Louis Bonacasa, another member of the 105th Base Defense Squadron and four other Airmen were also killed in the attack.
