New York Air National Guard Master Sgt. Christian Hammaren,pictured here, was one of seven New York Air National Guard members recognized for their professionalism by the Air Force Association during the group's 2016 Air, Space and Cyber Conference in National Harbor, Maryland on Sept. 19. Hammaren was recognized for his professionalism as a maintainer, while six members of the 109th Airlift Wing were honored for outstanding airmanship.
