CAMP ARIFJAN, KUWAIT--Soldiers of the 369th Sustainment Brigade celebrate the National Guards 380th birthday with a cake cutting ceremony Dec. 13, 2016 at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The National Guard is the oldest component of the U.S. military and traces its roots to Dec. 13, 1636 when the first militia regiments in North America were organized in Massachusetts. The 369th SB is a New York Army National Guard unit currently deployed in Kuwait in support of logistics operations in the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
