LATHAM-- New York Army National Guard Soldiers from the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade prepare their humvees for missions as a massive snow storm hits New York on March 14. The Soldiers are prepared to provide mobility support or traffic control help to local authorities. The Soldiers were among 2,000 Guard Soldiers and Airmen who Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo placed on state active duty or on standby to respond to the storm.
