NYNG Assists in Flood Response

KENDALL, N.Y.-- Air Force Master Sgt. Jeannie Mang, right, and Tech Sgt. Heather Farr, assigned to the 107th Attack Wing of the New York Air National Guard, stack sandbags at the town garage here in the Town of Kendall, N.Y. on May 9, 2017 as part of the New York National Guard response to flooding along Lake Ontario. At the direction of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo 200 Airmen and Soldiers have been on active duty assisting local communities with controlling flooding along the lake. By Saturday, May 13, National Guard Soldiers and Airmen had filled and distributed 239,703 sandbags.
