RONKONKONMA-- Four New York Army National Guard Soldiers who received New York's highest medal for heroism, the Medal for Valor, stand in formation during award ceremonies on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Army Aviation Support Facility # 1 in Ronkonkoma, N.Y. The men were recognized for rescuing the pilot of a light plane which crashed in flames on Feb. 26. They are, from left, Sgt. Yaanique Scott, Warrant Officer Christopher Hansen, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Aaron Pacholk and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Ronald Ramirez.
