September is National Preparedness Month

Having an effective plan to keep you, your family and your home safe during an emergency allows you to focus on the job at hand without having to also worry about the home front. It also enables quicker mobilization to provide better support to our fellow Soldiers and neighbors.

The New York National Guard Safety Office reminds us that it is important to prepare in advance to help yourself, your family and your community.
