KUWAIT-- U.S. Army Master Sergeant Patrick ONeill assigned with 101st Expeditionary Signal Battalion, New York Army National Guard, fires the M-4 rifle during a life fire exercise at Camp Buehring Kuwait Jan. 16 2019. The 101st ESB has served nine months in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield providing communications support for more than a dozen operating sites in some seven countries across the Middle East as part of the coalition effort to defeat the Islamic State also known as ISIS. The unit is expected back in New York soon.
